ELEVATE Your Culinary Skills is a technique-driven cooking class focused on core culinary competencies across a variety of global cuisines.  Instruction  covers a standardized food preparation methods, precise knife skills (slice, dice, chop, mince, julienne), accurate measurement, and fundamental cooking techniques such as sauteing, roasting, simmering, and baking, that will be applied to dishes from diverse culinary traditions.

The course places a strong emphasis on food safety and the prevention of foodborne illness, including proper hand hygiene, cross contamination control, safe food handling, temperature management, and kitchen sanitation.  Additional topics include recipe interpretation, seasoning and flavor development across cuisines, effecient kitchen workflow, appropriate equipment use, and basic plating and presentation techniques.
